Spring Planting Has Begun

With the kickoff for the Spring/Summer CSA soon approaching, spring planting is well underway at Phocas Farms. Tiny little carrot, lettuce, beet, bok choy and swiss chard sprouts are peeking through the rich hoop house garden soil.  Small root veggies are beginning to show themselves.

For those of you rejoining our CSA this Spring, you can expect varied combinations of arugula, basil, beets, carrots, cucumbers, eggplant, garlic, kale, lettuce, okra, onions parsley, sweet and hot peppers, potatoes, pumpkins, radishes, swiss chard, scallions, spinach, summer and winter squash, sweet potatoes, tomatoes and turnips in your share bag throughout the growing season.

Row covers are warming the soil so seedlings will germinate.

FROM OUR FARM, TO YOUR TABLE, we look forward to seeing your smiling faces again soon.  Thank you for your continued support.
